77th Republic Day Celebration at SEC Bihar

The State Election Commission, Bihar, celebrated India’s 77th Republic Day with great patriotic fervor and institutional pride. The National Flag was unfurled by the Hon’ble State Election Commissioner, Sri Deepak Prasad, at the Commission's office premises. The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Tricolour, followed by the collective rendition of the National Anthem. Addressing the officers and staff, Sri Deepak Prasad emphasized the sanctity of our Constitution and the pivotal role of the State Election Commission in strengthening grassroots democracy through fair and transparent elections. He reflected on the commission's commitment to ensuring that every citizen's voice is heard at the Panchayat and Municipal levels, echoing the constitutional values of equality and justice. The event was attended by senior officials, including the Secretary and various cell heads, along with the dedicated staff of the commission. The celebration concluded with a call to uphold the democratic spirit and continue the legacy of excellence in electoral management.
